Transforming lives through education

VíaNiños provides education and welfare support to working children and their families in Ecuador. With your help we are creating brighter futures for generations to come.

How we help

Empowering communities through education

We empower communities through education, social support, and life-changing opportunities.

Safe spaces to play

We create safe spaces for pre-school working children to learn, play and grow without fear. These early years are vitally important for child development and crucial cognitive and social skills.

Providing education

We help older working children to attend a specialist school and learn through tailored curriculum. The educational attainment helps the kids find better employment and earn a better living for themselves and their families.

Health and wellbeing

Many children experience different levels of physical and mental abuse at home. We support children with their social, psychological and physical health problems so they can overcome them

Our Mission

Dedicated to brighter futures

ViaNiños roughly translates to street children in Spanish. It’s a fitting name for our not-for-profit charity as we fundraise to help working children gain an education and break the cycle of poverty. Find out more about the positive impact of education on poverty.

We support three grassroots non-government organisations in Ecuador that offer targeted support and education programmes to vulnerable working children. Our partners have decades of experience helping young people escape child labour and destitution through educational opportunities, decent work, financial support and strategic advice.

Every penny we raise goes directly to our partners to ensure that your donations are spent with the greatest impact and changing as many lives as possible.
